Software Developer - remote working
Just2easy is a leading, award winning, educational software company, with a focus on the primary age range.

We are looking to appoint a software developer to help to further develop and refine our award winning range of educational tools which are being used in thousands of schools both in the UK and around the world.
We use state of the art innovation to bring our customers the very best web based tools which work on any device. You would become an essential part of our small, friendly development team. We have a very relaxed working environment and our developers have been remote working for over 10 years (long before it became so popular!). You will report directly to the Managing Director, and you can be sure that your achievements will be well noted, and rewarded as the company continues to grow and thrive.
You must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the following areas, and it is likely that the successful candidate will have more than 4 years experience:-
Essential
- Laravel
- PHP
- MYSQL
- Team player
Highly desirable
- Vue.js – or similar
- Javascript
- AWS
- Git
- Team management
Job Description/Major Responsibilities
- Work with our team of developers to design, create and test new modules for existing software and also entirely new tools.
- Work with our AWS infrastructure to help improve efficiency, security and costs.
- Help with the technical aspects of support for the software.
- Work within a small team of developers.
Requirements
- A degree in software, programming, computer science or similar, possibly waived for exceptional experience.
- A passion for software development
- Ability to manage and plan your own time effectively
- Relevant experience (see above)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
Salary and conditions
Salary will not be a barrier for the right candidate. The job will be based remotely. Holiday is 25 days plus bank holidays.
