How can we understand how someone else feels? In this live lesson, pupils will hear a short story about two children with different ideas, then explore how listening can help us understand what someone might think or feel.
In this session, pupils will:
- Listen to two characters explain what they want and consider how each might feel
- Use J2Vote to choose a possible feeling or a response that shows good listening
- Practise listening phrases such as “I heard you say…” and “I wonder if you feel…”
- Use JIT Paint to draw the characters and add a thought or feeling bubble for each
